Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data derdiedasgame.com collects and why. The data controller is Linda Vanaga, Switzerland (“I”, “me”). Contact: support@derdiedasgame.com.
What I collect
The game itself is account-free — you can play without giving any personal data. I collect only:
- Email address — when you buy a pack or request a restore code. Purpose: linking your purchase to you and letting you restore it on a new device. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Purchase records — which pack you bought and when. Purpose: delivering what you paid for and handling refunds. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations (accounting).
- Support messages — if you email me, I keep the conversation to help you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing support.
- Technical data — like most websites, the hosting platform may process your IP address and device/browser information to serve and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security and operation.
Your game progress and unlocked packs are stored only on your own device (in your browser’s local storage) — they never leave your phone or computer.
Who I share data with
- Paddle (Merchant of Record) — handles checkout, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle processes your payment details; I never see your card number.
- Service providers — hosting and email delivery providers that process data on my behalf to run the Service.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law (e.g. accounting, tax).
International transfers
Some service providers process data outside Switzerland/EEA. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are used (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
Retention
I keep personal data only as long as needed: purchase records for as long as required by accounting and tax law, restore-code emails for the life of your purchase, support messages until the matter is resolved. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Your rights
Under Swiss and (where applicable) EU/UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the FDPIC). I respond to requests within one month. Email support@derdiedasgame.com to exercise any of these rights.
Security
I use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your data.
Cookies
The game uses only essential browser storage (local storage) to remember your unlocked packs and settings on your device. No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are used.
Changes
If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
